Five full layers of protection reduces the likelihood of head injury from heading the ball, contact with players, goal posts or the ground. Also provides protection for back of head. Patented process of laminated layers for maximum protection with minimum thickness. Fully adjustable for head size 6 1/8" - 7 1/4". Approved for use by FIFA and USSF. Five layers include: A layer of soft, maleable plastic on the front. The soft plastic allows the ball to grab a bit similar to the friction of the skin on the forehead. The next layer is shock absorbing foam, then another plastic layer, another foam layer and finally a wicking moisture absorbing layer. Soft all over so it will help protect the wearer and their opponent in times of collision.
