Revfire Softball Package

Description
The sports bag holds up to 3 RevFire softballs and has a protective compartment
for the monitor. The leather 12" optic yellow RevFire balls are official size
and weight poly-core balls with an excellent surface feel and seam
construction. The RevFire monitor displays speed in MPH and spin in
Revolutions Per Second (RPS) and can be used with RevFire baseballs and
softballs. The monitor's two AA batteries will provide many hours of use and
may require replacement once a season when the low battery indicator appears.
RevFire balls are not for hitting or game play. Measures 12 x 8 x 6. Weighs
2.25 lbs.
What to expect
Faster spin produces more curve, rise, drop, or movement. Strong fastpitch softball breaking balls spin more than 20 RPS (Revolutions Per Second). Before
using the RevFire, a typical high school pitcher will throw a breaking ball
somewhere between 12 and 23 RPS, with the 15% able to throw over 20 RPS. In
college, before using the RevFire, most pitchers throw a breaking ball
somewhere between 17 and 26 RPS, with the top 15% throwing over 25 RPS on
a curve ball, screw ball, or rise ball. Some pitchers are able to throw a rise
ball as much as 30 RPS. With the challenge and awareness provided by the
RevFire, pitchers make significant gains in their spin rates.
